Special Olympics truck raffle begins

     Special Olympics Iowa is having a statewide fundraiser, a raffle for a 2018 Ford F-150 XLY Sport.

     Tickets are $5 each, and one-half of the money raised will stay in Jones County.

     Jones County Special Olympics relies on donations to continue providing the experience of athletic competition, sportsmanship and camaraderie to about 30 athletes.

     The drawing will be held Oct. 6 in Des Moines. Participants need not be present to win.
