Backyard Birds

of Summer

program is set

     Join the Jones County Naturalist, Michele Olson, at the Central Park Nature Center on June 23 as we investigate some of the backyard birds of summer. View a short PowerPoint presentation then head outside as we search for Central Parks backyard birds.

‘Make and Take

Pet Rock’ event

     Are you feeling crafty and would like your own pet rock? Well now is your chance! Join naturalist intern Weston Hoffman in creating your own pet rock at Jones County Central Park on Saturday, June 16.

     All ages encouraged to attend. This event will take place in the Central Park Nature Center – lower level beginning at 1 p.m. If you have any further questions please contact Wes at 563-487-3541.
