‘Owl prowl’ and

full moon hike set

Bring your family for a fun and educational program on “Iowa’s Owls” on Friday evening, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. at the Central Park Nature Center. Learn how to “hoot” like an owl during a short indoor presentation on Iowa’s owls. Then venture outside as we enjoy the full moon and test our hooting skills in an effort to call in an owl for a close up view.

Dress for the weather and wear your warm hiking footwear. Don’t forget your warm hats and gloves. Pre-registration required – please contact Michele at 319-481-7987 or e-mail naturalist@co.jones.ia.us by 4 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17.
