TRACK AND FIELD

University of Wisconsin-Platteville senior Noah Steiner was recently named an NCAA All-American for indoor track and field.  The United States Track and Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced that all qualifiers to the NCAA Division III National Indoor meet would be named All-American due to the cancelation of the 2020 National Indoor Finals.

The Monticello native qualified in the men’s high jump with a season best mark of 2.07 meters (6-9.5) at the UW-Platteville Invitational Feb. 1. This is Steiner’s second All-American accolade after finishing third at the 2019 National Indoor Meet.

Steiner won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference indoor meet and was named the Max Sprager Scholar Athlete. Steiner also earned USTFCCCA NCAA Division III All-Region honors.

Steiner maintains a 3.76 GPA while majoring in industrial technology management with a minor in drafting and product development.
