Steiner wins WIAC award

     University of Wisconsin-Platteville senior Noah Steiner has been named the recipient of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Max Sparger Men’s Indoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete Award.

     Steiner, a senior from Monticello, majors in industrial technology management, with a minor in drafting and product development, while maintaining a 3.76 grade-point average.

     He is a three-time U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honoree.

     In competition, Steiner recently won the high jump at the WIAC indoor championship, clearing 2.06 meters (6-foot-9). It was his second indoor conference title in the high jump; he also won in 2018 and was second last year.
