Strittmatter wins football contest

   Anne Strittmatter of Monticello is this week’s winner of the Express Football Contest. Strittmatter missed one game, good for the $15 first place prize.

     Second place went to Jake Thompson, of Monticello, giving him a two-week winning streak. Thompson missed three games. His tiebreaker score of 56 was closest to the Panther score of 61 points. For his efforts he earned the $5 second place prize.

     Also missing three games were Nick Strittmatter (55 tiebreaker score) and Bob Barta (39).

     As for the guest pickers, Dave Postel of DuTrac missed six games and Brad Freese of Freese Motors missed seven games. Winners may pick up their checks t the Express office. The Chiefs-Patriots game was moved to Monday night and did not count, as we went to press prior to Monday's games. This week’s contest had 53 entries.
