Sullivan performs in Spring Choral Concert

College Front

The Cornell College Department of Music presented its Spring Choral Concert on Sunday, April 28, in King Chapel on the Cornell College campus. The Chamber Singers and Concert Choir performed a variety of pieces, including “Summertime” by George Gershwin and “Identities” by Paul Rardin.

Congratulations to all who performed, including Cleo Sullivan of Monticello. Chamber Singers is an advanced ensemble of 16 singers. Membership is open to all qualified singers, including first-year students and non-majors. Chamber Singers offers a challenging, exciting choral experience in a group with a distinguished tradition of musical excellence. Comprised of about 50 students, Concert Choir is Cornell’s large choral ensemble. The choir is open to all students and includes many non-majors. The goal is to provide an opportunity for all students interested in performing vocal music to work together toward a common artistic goal. Both groups are led by Dr. Lisa Hearne.
