Team, state awards presented to Panthers
The Monticello High School girls track and field team celebrated its 2017 season, which included a fourth place finish at the State Class 2A Meet, during its annual awards banquet Friday, June 30 at MHS.
Team and All-State awards were presented during the event by head coach Darren Reade and assistant coach Vallerie Lynn.

Sprinter of the Year: Anna Loes, junior.
Distance Runner of the Year: Corinne Gadient, sophomore.
Field Event Award: Grace Gadient, junior.
Most Improved Athlete: Rylee Warthen, senior.
Leadership Award: Paige Holub, junior.
Coaches Award: Paige Holub, junior.
Rookie of the Year: Gabrielle Steiner, freshman.
ALL-STATE AWARDS
