Theisen’s announces new director of merchandising

Jeffery Lee

Theisen’s Home•Farm•Auto announced the hiring of Jeffery Lee for the position of director of merchandising and inventory management. In this role, Lee will direct all functions related to purchasing, inventory management and visual merchandising in the stores.

Lee will begin his responsibilities on Jan. 9, 2017, and is taking over the role vacated by Tony Theisen, formerly VP of purchasing as Theisen transitions into his new role of chief strategic officer on the board of directors.

Lee joins Theisen’s Home•Farm•Auto with years of merchandising and retail experience. Most recently, Lee was with Shopko for five years as vice president for Home/Consumer/Electronics/Toys/Furniture/Patio/Décor/Lawn & garden/Home Improvement. Prior to Shopko, Lee spent 15 years with The Home Depot in various roles, expanding roles.

Lee holds a BS in business administration from the University of Southern California, and graduated from the Accelerated Leadership Graduate Program through The Home Depot/Emory University.

“We are pleased to have Jeff join the Theisen’s team as we position ourselves to take the successful farm and ranch retailer to even greater heights,” commented Brannon Dixon, president of Theisen’s.

Lee and his family plan to relocate to the Dubuque area from their current location of Green Bay, Wis., in the near future.
