Trail extension

The Monticello Willow Trail extension project was poured last week. The extension takes the trail from Kitty Creek along E. Oak Street/Highway 38, and stops at Oakwood Cemetery, across from the high school/middle school entrance. Midwest Concrete from Peosta was the contractor on the project. They installed the 10-foot wide trail, at a cost of about $90,000. (Photos by Pete Temple and Kim Brooks)
