Training offered for Emergency Volunteer Center
Learn how you can help during a disaster. Attend a free basic seminar to learn how establishing an Emergency Volunteer Center can help Jones County during a disaster. The session prepares you to help staff an Emergency Volunteer Center in the event of a disaster.
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, April 25 in the Jones County Courthouse Community Room in the lower level (500 W. Main St. in Anamosa).
The evening includes:
• 4-5 p.m. – Returning volunteers (Module 2)
• 5-6 p.m. – New volunteers (Module 1)
• 6-8 p.m. – Simulation Sessions A and B
Session A is designed for volunteers who completed the training. Session B is designed for volunteers who did not make it Module 1.
