Tree species available for purchase

   Does recent warm weather have you thinking about planting?

   A mixture of hardwoods, low-growing ornamental and evergreen tree species are available for purchase, at $25 each.

   Alliant Energy customers can purchase up to two trees to be picked up at several locations on specific dates. The one closest to Monticello will be Saturday, May 11, 9 to 11 a.m. at Swiss Valley Park in Peosta.

   Other pickups are available April 25 in Storm Lake, April 30 in Jefferson, May 2 in Marshalltown and May 27 in Burlington.
