Treva Lovila Heiken May 21, 1933 – Dec. 4, 2018

      Treva Lovila Heiken, 85, was born on May 21, 1933 in Monticello, Iowa, and passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2018 in Chula Vista, Calif.

      She was the daughter of Martha and Ben Heiken of Monticello, Iowa.

      Treva is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Artiaga and Kristin Quick;  grandsons Quinn and Alec Artiaga of Chula Vista, Calif. and former husband John T. Quick; sister Ardis, wife of Don Hagen; niece Denise, wife of Steve Secrist and nephew Jeff, husband of Phyllis (Deceased) Hagen; brother John, husband of Marilyn Heiken; niece, Pam Jerabek and nephew, Bruce Heiken; brother Charlie (Deceased) husband of Mary Claussen; and nephews Shane and Brett Claussen.

      Treva’s beautiful life was celebrated on Jan. 27, 2019 in her home in Chula Vista, Calif. Treva will be forever loved and remembered as kind, thoughtful, honest, creative and generous.  Her sweet and gentle spirit will live on through her children and grandchildren.
