Two MHS groups make All-State in group speech

Performing “First Aid Kit-chen” in the Group Mime category are Maddie Stadtmueller (on floor) and Kehde Campbell.

     Two Monticello High School groups earned the highest honor available in the state of Iowa – nominations to the All-State Speech Festival.

     Nominated were:

     • Kehde Campbell and Maddie Stadtmueller for Group Mime, entitled “First Aid Kit-chen.”

     • Levi Temple and Grant Hospodarsky for Group Improv.

     There is no festival this year due to COVID-19, and groups who received Division I ratings in the recent district had to submit their entries virtually.
