Veterans group donates to Patriot's Day project

The Teufelhund Veterans Group recently donated $200 to the Jones County Volunteer Center and Veterans Affairs to assist with a Patriot’s Day service project to provide hygiene kits to veterans and community members in need. The money was used to purchase items such as shampoo, body soap, deodorant, toothpaste and combs. The kits will be distributed to local food banks throughout Jones County, as well as Veteran Affairs in Anamosa.
