Webster City meet draws Moser athletes

     Moser School of Dance and Gymnastics competed and placed well in the USTA Power Tumbling meet held in Webster City on April 2nd, 2017. There were 21 clubs attending with over 420 athletes competing throughout the day. Area gymnasts who placed well are as follows:

     First place: Gertrude Wall, Avery Sweeney, Claire Jaeger, Kadence Pape, Madelyn Schmitz, Kaydence Ahart, Logan Bevans, Adysen Frieden, Keely Recker, Kreighton Peck, Kennedi Bevans, Alaina Mead, Tenley Bormann, Kyle Peck, Ella Oberbreckling, Lexus Fleming, Gracie Hillebrand, Kalyssa Reimer, Kaia Engelhardt, Aaliyah Rosenthal and Laura Pierschbacher.

     Second place: Carter Phillips, Meliah Eiben, Hannabelle Erickson, Kennedi McGarvey, Paige Kremer, Gabrielle Guilford, Mikya Britton, Isabel Lutgen, Sophia Geistkemper, Grace Funke, Elizabeth Recker, Ava Nolan, Alexa Ries, Brynn Burlage, Elyse Konrardy, Jason Recker, Tucker Erickson, Maya Pierce, Ella Vaughn, Hannah Seevell, Makenna Payne, Madilyn Payne, Kendall Wagner, Memphis Peyton and Lilly Shaw.

     Third place: Ella Schindler, Gabbi Funke, Carley Hillebrand, Maddesyn Demmer, Claire Hillebrand, Libby Knipper, Madeline Martin, Lilee Boriskey, Macey Krivanek and Ella Krivanek.

     Fourth place: Katelyn Mangold, Makayla Gasper, Michelle Stelken, Reagan Brown, Rachel Clayberg, Cheyenne Varner, Alivia Sweeney, Racjel Everman, Ella Glawatz, Megan Pierschbacher, Peyton Youngblut, Ella Davidshofer, Charly Lynch, Starrlynn Brockob and Marli Schissel.

     Fifth place: Kennedy Bulman, Allie Esmann, Gabrielle Hoeger, Makayla Cuellar, Emma Fisher and Myra Peyton.

     Sixth place: Abby Cook, Savannah Freese and Taylor Mullis.

     Eighth place: Abigayle Johnson.

     “Our Moser athletes have had a great season of gaining new skills and perfecting skills they already have thru hard work and dedication,” said Debbie Moser, who co-coaches the team with Carmen Moser Payne, Bernita Moser and Kattie Payne Schulte.

     “The challenges, experiences, memories made, friends made, self-confidence gained that come through competing makes it all so well worth the time put in.”
