Mark and Tish Bouska already owned the buses. All it took was converting one of the old buses they use for their Monticello River Rental business into something more.

“It’s always been my idea to have one (party bus rental),” Mark said. “And then once we bought the canoe rental, we had the buses, and I had the license to drive. So, I always thought about it and then just finally did it.”

The Bouskas started the 319 Express in December 2025 and carried their first party on Dec. 13.

“It’s just an old school bus,” Mark said. “We turned the seats sideways along the windows, put in a stereo, some lights, new flooring, some phone chargers and just spruced up an old bus. We had the outside wrapped too. That turned out real well.”

Mark has his CDL license to drive and said, “I’ve got about three or four others that said they’re interested in driving too.”

With just the one bus for the business’s first year, Mark said the hope is to get at least one more converted for party bus rentals.

“We’ll see how this first year goes and go from there,” added Mark. “I’ve got a bigger bus that might be the next venture. (We may) fit a bathroom in it.”

With the river rental business booming in the summer, Bouska said the party bus rental still fits into their schedule.

“It’s a little bit of an off season. Personally, I’m a lot slower in the winters, but bus rentals are, too,” Bouska said. “It’s just a little thing extra to … People always called us for buses, but I wasn’t insured for it.”

After “kicking it around for a couple of years,” the Bouskas decided to jump in to the new venture.

For the upcoming wedding season, Tish said they have already booked a few days in March and April, but every Saturday in June is spoken for.

For weekday rentals, Bouska said the party bus is $120 per hour, with a $250 deposit that covers the first two hours. Weekend and holiday rentals are $140 per hour with a $300 deposit that covers the first two hours.
