Wilton basketball fans thankful for online coverage

To the Editor,

     Several family members watched the Monticello-Wilton girls basketball games online on Friday, Dec. 14, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The camera coverage was wonderful; I could even tell who the girls were without having to check numbers all of the time.

     The young men doing the commentary were very impressive. They were personable and did an excellent job with fair analysis and interesting comments. If they are examples of the young people in Monticello, you are a fortunate community.

     Such great online coverage of our granddaughter’s games is one good thing that has come out of this pandemic.

     Thanks to everyone responsible, from fans who watched in Wilton, Nashua and Tyler, Texas!
