Women & Soil event is set in Dyersville

   Women, Land and Legacy is hosting Women & Soil, a one-of-a-kind experience, on Saturday, June 8, 1-5 p.m. at the Field of Dreams Event Center in Dyersville.

   Learn how women can make a difference in conservation, take charge, and impact the land.

   A lineup of female soil health experts is scheduled to attend. They include Alycia Willenbring, NRCS resource conservationist; Jodi Enos-Berlage, a professor at Luther College, Alisha Sedimayr, NRCS northeast Iowa soil health specialist; Carla Ribeiro Machado e Portugal, an accomplished biologist from Brazil; Lillie Beringer of Cascade, who operates Beringer Family Farms; and Judith Joyce, a senior geomorphologist.

   An additional networking opportunity will follow this event at Textile Brewery in Dyersville.
