Wrights celebrate 60th anniversary

      John “Hoppy” and Carol Wright of Monticello will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family celebration at a later date.

      Carol Heeren and John Wright were united in marriage at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello on Aug. 20, 1960. They are parents of Carla (Curt) Morrow of Coggon, Ronda (Jack) Pope of Pella and Cindy Wright (deceased). They have four grandchildren: Ryan (Mike) Peters, Matt (Amy) Morrow, Ben (Taylor) Morrow and Brock (Libby) Pope. They have five great-grandchildren: Payton, Harrison and Everly Morrow and Leo and Greyson Peters.
