William L. Howie, age 76, of River Falls, Wis., and formerly of Monticello, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at his home following a brief illness.

  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Monticello, with interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.   Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday  at Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello.    Thoughts, memories and condolences may be left at www.goettschonline.com.
