Tyler Frasher of Anamosa sold the Reserve Champion 4-H Market Hog for $22,500 in the Sale of Champions during the Iowa State Fair Saturday, Aug. 18.
Frasher is a member of the East Greenfield 4-H Club, where he has served as club president, treasurer and has received the county Swine Proficiency Award. It is his fifth year exhibiting at the State Fair.
Another Jones County exhibitor, Abigail Tuetken of Anamosa, received a $600 scholarship award for her Grand Champion FFA Purebred Breeding Gilt.
Several other county exhibitors were among the award winners during the State Fair.
