Top, second: Picnic tables were decorated and set for the first fall “Down Home on the Bridge” event on Sept. 30 on Hale Bridge. About 79 people were served, with food provided by Daly Creek Winery & Bistro from Anamosa.

Third: Iowa DNR and Park Manager Dennis Murphy shuttled visitors at Wapsi State Park on a hay wagon ride to see the fall foliage throughout the park. The ride was part of the festivities for the fall dinner on Hale Bridge.
