A new selection, pickups and motorcycles, as well as a guest appearance by Catherine Bach, famous for her role as “Daisy Duke” in the popular TV show “The Dukes of Hazzard,” will highlight the 44th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Rod and Custom Car Show, presented by KCRG TV9. The show will take place Saturday, Feb. 23, and Sunday, Feb. 24, at the Berndes Center in Monticello, Iowa, located at 766 N. Maple St.
This exciting event is one of the oldest and longest running in the Midwest featuring a brand new selection of the hottest street rods, custom cars, motorcycles, street machines, race cars and pickups in the area, competing for unique trophies and prizes.
There will be trophies and Citizens State Bank cash prizes awarded to exhibits with winning show vehicles.
Also appearing at the car show is popular 3-D Sound disc jockey Dave Palmer, crowd favorite caricature artist David Fliss, balloon artist Jacob Cowger “Sparkles the Clown,” ABC Supply Co./A.J. Foyt Racing IndyCar, the 28th Annual Model Car Contest and more!
The O’Reilly Auto Parts Rod and Custom Car Show is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Feb. 23, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 24.
