Dale L. Marshall, 89, of Rolling Meadows, Ill., died Feb. 4, 2013.

Visitation was held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, Monticello. Interment in Wayne Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Monticello.

Dale was born Feb. 3, 1924 in Central City. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the army. He was a retired high school teacher for the Maine Township High School District.

He was the husband of the late Dorothy (nee Rieken); father of Kevin Marshall and JoEllyn (Scott) Milford; grandfather of Justine and Allison Milford, Rebekah (Chris) Kristan and Dale and Brian Marshall; brother of Gwen (Carl) Duecker and the late Clair Marshall.
