      Arlinda Ricklefs, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon following a brief illness. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1 p.m. at New Life Community Church in Marion, Iowa. Friends and family called before the services, beginning at 11 a.m.   The interment was in Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello, Iowa.  Goettsch Funeral Home in Monticello has taken Arlinda and her family into their care.  You may sign the online guestbook at www. goettschonline.com.

      Jack Spore, 74, of Monticello, died Wednesday, May 28, 2024, at Unity Point St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

      Donald Monk, 91, died Thursday evening, May 16, 2024 at Anamosa Care Center following an extended illness.

      James E. Hunter, 66, of Monticello, Iowa passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City after a brief illness.

    Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello. Funeral Mass commenced at noon with Rev. Paul Baldwin officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Michael Ingalls April 23, 1954 – May 1, 2024

      Michael Ingalls, 70, died Wednesday May 1, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life was held from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024, in the Arthur Collins Room at the Best Western Longbranch Hotel, 90 Twixt Town Rd, Cedar Rapids 52402.  Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, where friends called after 9 a.m. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello at a later date. Pastor Holly Knouse officiated at the services.

      Eleanor (Tuddy) Evelyn Wroblewski , 90, of Olathe, Kans. and formerly of Marion, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Hospice House in Olathe after a lengthy and courageous battle against cancer.
