Awards program honors 4-H youth

The Jones County 4-H Awards Day Presentation was held Jan. 9 at the Youth Development Center in Monticello. Among the awards was the installation of the Jones County 4-H County Council.      Members of 4-H throughout Jones County were presented with awards in a variety of categories at the Jones County 4-H Awards Program Sunday, Jan. 9 at the Citizens State Bank Youth Development Center.

     Following a meal with meat donated by the Jones County Pork Producers, the Jones County 4-H County Council was installed, followed by the awards.

     The event was held in-person after being held virtually the previous year.
