Board approves personnel items

     Several personnel items, including the list of August Academy teachers, were approved during an abbreviated special meeting of the Monticello School Board June 9.

     Those included:

     Resignations – Abigale Frisch as health associate at Shannon and Carpenter schools, and Wes Wilson as middle school wrestling coach.

     Appointments – Breanna Welter, Chelsea Sandin, Karen Brokaw, Jenny Claussen, Stacy Campbell, Tricia Lambert, Lindsay Ryan, Scotty Hall, Amity Norton, Brooke Lundgren, Nicolette Wennekamp, Jamie Vroegh, Amy Goerdt, Angie Sconsa and Donna Wall as August Academy teachers; Drew Arduser as high school English teacher, Curt Paulsen as substitute bus driver, Stacie Breitbach as varsity volleyball coach, and Becky Thurm and Wendi Fortman as high school summer school coordinators.

     Transfers – Jamie Vroegh from sixth-grade ELA teacher to grade K-12 counselor, and Jennifer Uthoff from special education child specific associate to special education program associate at the high school.

     Due to limited board member availability June 9, two items were moved to the agenda for the June 28 regular board meeting. Those included a fiscal year 2020 audit report, and the 2021-22 staff handbooks.
