Cathy Arduser

June 5, 1953 –Nov. 4, 2025

Cathy Arduser, 72, died peacefully at her home early Tuesday morning, Nov. 4, 2025.

      Funeral Services were held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Monticello Baptist Church with interment in Oakwood Cemetery.  Pastor Brett Denham officiated at the services.  Friends called from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Goettsch Funeral Home.

      Those left to remember her are her husband George; three children, Ron (Lynn) Arduser, Renee (Curt) Foust, Randy (Sara) Arduser; and 12 grandchildren.  She was preceded by her parents, a brother, Randy and a sister, Peggy.  

      Cathy Jean Harlan was born in Monticello, Iowa on June 5, 1953, to Robert and Lois (Metzger) Harlan.  She attended Monticello Community Schools. Cathy married George Arduser on Nov. 21, 1970, at Monticello, Iowa.  Cathy did babysitting in her home for many years.  From 1994 until 2017 she was employed by Orbis in Monticello. 

      Cathy enjoyed shopping, her cats, she loved Volkswagen Beetles, puzzles, Iowa basketball, rides in the car and golf cart. Cathy and George went on several ocean cruises over the years.
