Evan James Shelton, Marion, pleaded guilty to 3rd degree theft. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. He was also ordered to pay victim restitution in the amount of $550.
Adam Lee Gersdorf, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense (methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 80 days suspended. He was fined a total of $940 plus court costs, with $625 suspended. Gersdorf was placed on self-supervised probation for two years.
Jamie Sue Steele, Camanche, pleaded not guilty to possession of burglar’s tools. A jury trial is set for May 12.

Brandon Lee Dingle, Monticello, was charged with three counts of 2nd degree sexual abuse. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 10.
Richard Anthony Daniel, Dubuque, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 2nd offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs. He had a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, dismissed.
Shawn Erwin Christiansen, Onslow, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 14.
Jason Alan Parker, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to 4th degree theft. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs.
Danielle Lee Richardson, Marion, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs. She had a charge of unlawful possession of prescription drug, dismissed.
Samantha Jean Lewis, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to possession of a controlled substance 1st offense (Adderall). A jury trial is set for May 12.
Donald Floyd Dusenberry, Durant, pleaded not guilty to possession of Adderall 1st offense and OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 14.
Brett Joseph Moravek, Marion, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 19.
Haiden Lee Smith, Anamosa, was charged with domestic abuse assault-injury/mental illness 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 17.
