District Court

     Robert Gibson Haas, Cascade, was found guilty of contempt of court. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, and fined court costs.

     Kristopher Randall Mercer, Olin, pleaded not guilty to 3rd degree theft and 2nd degree criminal mischief. A jury trial is set for Oct. 27.

     Javis Matthew Abben, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree criminal mischief and 3rd degree theft. A jury trial is set for Sept. 15.

     Nyssa Joy Goeres, Lodi, Wis., pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Cletus M. Yoder, Aurora, Mo., pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 27.

     Margie Bunker, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Sept. 15.

     Cory John Onken, Anamosa, was charged with assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. A preliminary hearing is set for July 1.

     Steven Leonard Leader, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Jason Thomas Hoerner, Dubuque, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Sentencing is set for Aug. 10.

     Seth Alan McDonell, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense and unlawful possession of a prescription drug. A jury trial is set for Oct. 13.

     Kory Allen Williams, Hopkinton, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Sept. 15.

     Gauge Leon Linne, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense, driving while barred, and two counts of child endangerment. A jury trial is set for Sept. 15.
