District Court

     James Alan Loehr, Centerville, was found guilty of contempt. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined court costs. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Loehr also pleaded guilty to trespassing and two counts of driving while barred. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, and fined a total of $940 plus court costs. All but two days were suspended, and Loehr was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Adam Lee Triplett, Grinnell, was found guilty of contempt. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined court costs.

     Reece Paul Schmit, Monticello, was charged with 3rd degree criminal mischief. No court date was set.

     Daniel Patrick Kascel, Cedar Rapids, was cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for Sept. 29.

     Grant T. Troyer, North English, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree theft. A jury trial is set for Jan. 4.

     Trenton Douglas McCleary, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to trespassing and the lesser offense of eluding. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined a total of $1,455 plus court costs. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on supervised probation for three years. Of the fine, $1,025 was suspended. McCleary had charges of possession of marijuana 3rd offense and 3rd degree criminal mischief, dismissed. He also pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $855 plus court costs. The sentence and fine were suspended, and he was placed on supervised probation for two years.

     Dillion Lee Graf, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree theft. A jury trial is set for Jan. 4.

     Michaela L. Devaney, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree theft. A jury trial is set for Dec. 7.

     Brad Allen Levsen, Anamosa, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 27.

     Joshua Wayne Jentz, Clinton, pleaded not guilty to 4th degree theft. A jury trial is set for Dec. 7.

     Katrina Anne Engelbart, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of assault. She was fined $250 plus court costs.

     Bryson John Mundorf, Martelle, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, and fined $430 plus court costs.

     Margie Bunker, Cedar Rapids, was cited for possession of marijuana 2nd offense. A court date is set for Oct. 13.

     Hannah Louise Cowman, Marion, was charged with domestic abuse assault-injury/mental illness 1st offense. No court date was set.

     Christopher Jo Gutierrez Mendez, Cedar Rapids, was cited for possession of marijuana 1st offense. A court date is set for Oct. 6.

     Ronald Alan Carr, La Motte, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Jessica Kristine Perry, Coralville, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 2.

     Benjamin Jordan Carstensen, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs. All but two days were suspended, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Milton Corinthian Graves, Jr., Clarksdale, Miss., was cited for OWI 1st offense. A court date is set for Sept. 20.
