District Court

     James Maxwell Moulton, Cedar Rapids, was charged with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. No court date was set.

     Jermaine Herron, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, and fined court costs. The sentence was suspended, and Herron was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Craig James Orris, Maquoketa, was charged with domestic abuse assault-use/display a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious injury. A preliminary hearing was set for Oct. 4.

     Jason Allen Hand, Anamosa, was charged with assault on persons in certain occupations. A preliminary hearing was set for Oct. 4. Hand was also charged with 1st degree harassment and 4th degree criminal mischief. No court date was set.

     Elijah James Pavin, Anamosa, was charged with child endangerment and possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Oct. 11.

     Reece Paul Schmit, Monticello, pleaded guilty to 3rd degree burglary and an amended offense of 3rd degree theft. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on supervised probation for three years. He was ordered to pay civil penalties totaling $1,880 plus court costs.

     Bryson John Mundorf, Martelle, pleaded not guilty to 3rd degree burglary. A jury trial is set for Nov. 30.

     Dustin Philip Rickels, Hopkinton, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree criminal mischief, 1st degree theft, 2nd degree arson, eluding, and driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Nov. 30.

     Brad Allen Levsen, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense. No court date was set.

     Kobe Kayshawn Brown, Anamosa, was charged with willful injury resulting in bodily injury. An arraignment is set for Oct. 11.

     Damion Paul Liebel, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to domestic abuse enhanced 2nd offense. He was sentenced to one year in jail, and fined court costs. All but four days of the sentence were suspended, and Liebel was placed on supervised probation for two years.

     Jeffrey Allen Collins, Monticello, pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily injury-domestic. He was sentenced to 80 days in jail, and fined court costs. All but four days were suspended, and Collins was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Trinity David Brown, Hopkinton, pleaded guilty to assault. He was fined $105 plus court costs.

     Nicklaus Ryan Clark, Hopkinton, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 30.

     Theodore Joseph Weber, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to contempt. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, to run concurrently with another sentence, and fined court costs. Weber also pleaded guilty to OWI 3rd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined $3,125 plus court costs. All but 30 days were suspended, to be served in the Jones County Jail. He was placed on supervised probation for three years.

     Justin Michael Mead, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 3rd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined $3,125 plus court costs. All but 30 days were suspended, to be served in the Jones County Jail. He was placed on supervised probation for three years.

     Jim Allen Chapman, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs. All but two days of the sentence were suspended, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Andrew David Jamison, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Bryan Carl Beck, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 11.

     Sheldon James Moroni Tory, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1st offense. No court date was set.
