District Court

     Jamie Sue Steele, Camanche, pleaded guilty to possessing burglar’s tools. She was sentenced to one year in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. All but 40 days were suspended, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. The fine was also suspended.

     Adam Edwin Harms, Olin, pleaded guilty to driving while license was denied/suspended/cancelled/revoked. He was fined $250 plus court costs.

     David Clyde Potter, Center Junction, was charged with domestic abuse assault 2nd offense. No court date was set.

     Jeffrey Allen Borga, Anamosa, was cited for possession of burglar’s tools. A court date was set for Oct. 13.

     Brad Allen Levsen, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison, to run concurrently with another sentence, and fined $1,025 plus court costs. The sentence and fine were suspended, and Levsen was placed on supervised probation for three years. He also had charges of possession of lysergic acid diethylamide 3rd offense and possession of marijuana 3rd offense, dismissed.

     Jason Wayne Casper, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree theft and possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 25.

     Timothy Michael Williams, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 30.

     Cody A. Oberholser, Anamosa, was charged with 2nd degree criminal mischief. No court date was set.

     Mathew Kenneth Koob, Stanwood, was charged with 1st degree theft and 2nd degree burglary. A preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 15.

     Adrian Edward Banowetz, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $430 plus court costs.

     Riley James Foix, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 25.

     Brooke Marie Lambing, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 25.

     Susan Marie Ellison, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 25.

     Denny Alan Zimmerman, Solon, was charged with OWI 1st offense. No court date was set.
