ECI accepting applications for preschool scholarships

     Cedar/Jones Early Childhood Iowa (ECI) is accepting applications for preschool scholarships for the 2021-22 school year.

     Cedar/Jones ECI allocates funds to assist low-income families that have children ages 3, 4, or 5 with the cost of preschool and to increase access to quality preschool programs. Preschool scholarships are for children whose families are at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.

     Applications and guidelines can be obtained by contacting a participating preschool in Jones County or ECI Director Sherri Hunt at 319-551-3402 or sherri.hunt@jonescountyiowa.gov.

     Participating preschools in Jones County include:

     • Olin Consolidated School District Preschool

     • Little Lion Learning Center, Olin

     • Sacred Heart Preschool, Monticello

     • Little Panther Preschool, Monticello

     • St. Patrick Preschool, Anamosa
