Dustin Hall didn’t mind the extreme heat during the Men’s Club Tournament Saturday and Sunday, July 25-26 at the Monticello Golf Club.

In fact, it may have helped him win the tournament.

“I love the heat,” Hall said. “I’ve got a little arthritis here and there, so it helps me get a little bit looser when it’s warmer.”

Hall, 47, shot 69-70–139 to win the title by two strokes over Chance Manternach and Jacob Bergman, each of whom finished with 141. Manternach then defeated Bergman in a playoff for second.

“Usually I hit it pretty straight, which I did all weekend, to keep myself out of trouble,” Hall said.
