Marge was born on May 22, 1939, in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Gilbert and Margaret (Schilt) Steiner. She graduated from Monticello High School and later married Courtland “Chip” Chapman on Aug. 18, 1959, in Monticello. The couple lived and worked in the Monticello and Tipton areas before settling in Manchester in 1971, where they raised their four sons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Margaret Steiner; husband, Chip Chapman; and her brother Roland Steiner.
The family would like to extend a special thank you for those at Regional Medical Center who helped Marge at a difficult time. Your kindness and generosity was greatly appreciated by her family.
