Matthew (Matt) Winston Wenndt March 26, 1952 – March 7, 2025

      Matthew (Matt) Winston Wenndt, 52, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 7, 2025, in Lisbon, Iowa.

    Above all else Matt loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Amy; son, Lars Ledford of Eugene, Ore.; daughter, Stephanie (Zach) Fillmore of Cedar Rapids; son, Cameron Wenndt of Newhall; parents, Duane and Janice Wenndt of Wyoming; sister, Elaine (Dan) Michaels of Llano, Calif.; brother, Jonathan Wenndt of Peoria, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Harper, Hudson and Ezra; two nephews, Alex and Andrew; a niece, Rachel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    A visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming, where his memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.  Cards of condolences may be directed to Dawson Funeral Services, Attn: Matthew Wenndt Family, PO Box 258, Wyoming, IA 52362.
