Model Car Contest results announced

     The 37^th Annual Model Car Contest (featured at the KCRG-TV9-presented O’Reilly Auto Parts Rod & Custom Car Show) took place, Feb. 26-27 at the Monticello Berndes Center in Monticello, Iowa.

     Contest winners received a trophy and model kit awards. Results are as follows:

Open Category, ages 18 and over (Cars)

     First place, Richard Siemsen, Vinton; second place, Richard Mishler, Cedar Rapids; third place, Andy Anderson, Strawberry Point; fourth place, Scott Raisbeck, Cedar Rapids; fifth place, Duncan Suthers, Cedar Rapids.

Open Category, ages 18 and over (Racecars)

     First place, Scott Raisbeck, Cedar Rapids; second place, Jack McCullough, Dubuque; third place, Roger Brighton, Monticello; fourth place, Richard Mishler, Cedar Rapids.
