SWCD poster contest is set

   The Jones Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is hosting a conservation poster contest for students Kindergarten through 12^th grade.

   Any student attending public, private or home school is eligible to participate. The contest theme is “Home is where the Habitat is.”

   To be eligible, posters must be made on regular poster paper and should be a minimum 8.5 x 11 up to 22 x 28 inches and must include the theme. Any medium is acceptable including crayons, markers, pencil, and paint, but no three-dimensional effects are allowed.

   The Jones SWCD will award cash prizes to first place winners in each of the five grade divisions. Those winners will advance to regional competition. Deadline to submit posters to the Anamosa SWCD is May 2.
