Thanks to the community for support of food pantry

Letter to the Editor

To the Editor,

In this season of Thanksgiving, we want to say thanks for your support for all the MMA (Monticello Ministerial Association) programs. You, this community, partnering with local churches and volunteers, help feed people every week. You provide the funds when someone is in need of a little help for utilities, rent, gas, or transportation. You, through MMA, provide assistance in getting the help people need to cope when life has to be too much. Thank you.

Thanks to our great volunteers who make the food pantry go. Who show up each week to unload food to stock the pantry or to load it into neighbors’ cars when they need it. Thanks to the volunteer leadership who keep things going. Thanks to those who partner with MMA to make our community a little better place for all.

Your contributions of food and money make this all possible and we, the pastors and the churches of the Monticello Ministerial Association, just want you to know how thankful we are for you.

Fr. Paul Baldwin, president

Pastor Bill Warhover, treasurer
