Tree sale

The Jones Soil and Water Commissioners conducted an online tree sale to promote conservation, and held a pickup day April 24 at the Farm Service Agency building in Anamosa. From left, Monticello FFA students Porter Campbell and Alyssa Wickman load a tree for Deb Poppe of Norwalk (right).

Different varieties of trees await pickup during Thursday’s event, which also involved the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Jones County Conservation. Mulch donated by Bruggeman Lumber in Sand Springs was also available. (Photos by Pete Temple)
