Winners announced in Model Car Contest

     The 36^th Annual Model Car Contest (featured at the KCRG-TV9 presented O’Reilly Auto Parts Rod & Custom Car Show) took place Feb. 27 and 28 at the Monticello Berndes Center.

     Contest winners receive a trophy and model kit awards. Results are as follows:

Senior Category, ages 13 to 17 (Cars)

     First place, CJ Schuman, Waterloo, Iowa.

Open Category, ages 18 and over (Cars)

     First place, David A. Hayes, Lisbon, Iowa; second place, Scott Raisbeck, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; third place, Richard Mishler, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; fourth place, Jeremy Deegan, Traer, Iowa; fifth place, Jerry Deegan, Waterloo, Iowa.
